In the course of its history, Orsa has built up its good name through its unceasing quest for high-quality products, services and production processes, as well as social accountability and respect for the environment. As a result, Orsa has been honored by a wide variety of important awards in Brazil and elsewhere. Outstanding among them, Orsa was the first company in the world to receive the Kodak Quality First Supplier Program prize, as a supplier of corrugated cardboard packaging. Outreach Awards
2004 - Exame Magazine Good Corporate Citizenship Guide - Spotlight on the Create (Criar) Program
This Program is designed to ensure the right to family and community life, helping children return to the shelter of their original or foster families. Since it was launched, this Program had handled over 11,000 consultations.
2004 - ECO Award
The program disseminating the Kangaroo Mom baby-care method - developed by the Orsa Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Brazil’s National Social and Economic Development Bank (BNDES) - won the 22nd Eco Prize in the Healthcare category. Organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo (AMCHAM/SP), this award was established in 1982 to acknowledge and foster the nationwide promotion of outreach activities implemented by companies and institutions in the fields of culture, education, environment, community participation and healthcare.
2004 - ADVB Top Social Award
Run by the Orsa Foundation, the Tupã Magic Project won the ADVB TOP SOCIAL Award for 2004. Awarded by the Brazilian Marketing and Sales Directors Association (ADVB - Associação dos Dirigentes de Vendas e Marketing do Brasil), this prize selects and publicly acknowledges programs and actions embodying the concept of social accountability, paying tribute to organizations whose vision underscores the importance of social development as a crucial growth factor.
2004 - Ibero-American Prize for Excellence in Education
This tribute was granted to the Orsa Foundation in acknowledgment of its actions focused on early childhood education. This prize is awarded by the Ibero-American Council for Excellence in Education to all public and private entities in Latin America with outstanding performances in their fields within their countries of origin, measured by educational process and management quality standards.
2004 - Best Marketing Prize
The Progepi case study was awarded this Prize, organized by MadiaMundoMarketing, the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), and the Editora Referência publishing house.
2003 - Good Corporate Citizenship Guide - Exame Magazine - The set of outreach activities implemented by the Orsa Foundation, Orsa Celulose and Jari brought the Orsa Group a special mention in the fourth edition of the Good Corporate Citizenship Guide published by Exame Magazine. This first-time acknowledgment was based on a decision taken by a panel of Third Sector specialists that picked the best outreach projects from 1,200 entries.
2003 - Best Marketing Prize - awarded by Madia Mundo Marketing / FGV and the Editora Referência publishing house, winning with the Seed Money case study.
2002 - Municipal Merit Prize awarded by the Municipal Suppliers Guide Review, as the winner with the innovative Early Childhood Education Project developed by the Orsa Foundation in partnership with the Caraguatuba Town Council, on Coloring our Time (Colorindo o Nosso Tempo).
2002 - Top Social Prize - ADVB, awarded to the Orsa Foundation for the Tin Can Band (Banda Bate Lata) art education project.
2002 - Racine Prize awarded by the Fundação Orsa Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the National Social and Economic Development Bank (BNDES) through the Kangaroo Mother Method Dissemination Program, which teaches mothers to care for their premature infants and newborns through close body contact.
2002 - Best Marketing Prize, awarded by Madia Mundo Marketing FGV and Editora Referência, winner with the Fundação Orsa Foundation case study.

2004 - ABFLEXO personality of the year - The Chairman of the Orsa Group, Sergio Amoroso was elected Personality of the Year in the annual Flexo 2004 Highlights prize awarded by the Brazilian chapter of the Flexographic Technical Association (ABFLEXO/FTA-BRASIL). This honor pays tribute to people who contributed to the dissemination or enhancement of flexography in Brazil during 2004. The prizewinners were indicated by the members of ABFLEXO/FTA-BRASIL, companies in this sector, the press and professional entities.
2003 - Top ICMS tax payers in Goiás State – Awarded by the Goiás State Government to the Rio Verde Plant for the transparent manner in which Orsa administers its businesses.

2004 - III Latin American Flexography Industry Contest - Contest held in Mexico and organized by United Engravers, also in Mexico, with the support of the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA). Orsa won three prizes in the Corrugated Cardboard category for its packaging: Bohemia made for Ambev; and Abracadabra and Votocopy, made for VCP.
2003 - World Excellence in Corrugated Cardboard Graphics Prize 2003 – Graphics quality prize awarded for the Bohemia (Ambev), Copimax (VCP) and Cesta de Natal (Marbel) packaging. Won for the fifth consecutive year.
2003 - In Colombia, Orsa received the Excellence in Flexograph Printing Award 2003 -Andes Region, in the Corrugated Cardboard category, presented by Novaflex with the support of the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) for the "Bohemia Dark Beer" pack.
